Tim Zajaros

Tim Zajaros has over ten years of experience in the Entertainment Industry and has produced several successful films. Zajaros was introduced to CannaKids a year ago, and since has a developed an overwhelming passion and drive to do whatever he can to assist CannaKids in marketing it’s brand both nationally and internationally in an effort to cement CannaKids as the most recognized and respected brand in Medical Marijuana industry. “A year ago I had the slightest knowledge of the true potential of what Medical Marijuana can do. As of today, I’ve actually seen life changing results in patients with autism to epilepsy and from cancer to muscular sclerosis. Rarely do opportunities come along where you can be on the right side of history and truly change and effect lives. This is my opportunity and one that I couldn’t be more passionate about.”

Zajaros has recently been in the Hollywood spotlight as a producer of the barrier-breaking film, MUDBOUND starring Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke, Garret Hedlund, Jason Mitchell, Jonathan Banks, Mary J. Blige, and directed by Dee Rees. MUDBOUND premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and was immediately hailed by critics as a powerfully moving, relevant, and ground-breaking film. MUDBOUND has since been nominated for 4 Academy Awards, and 2 Golden Globes in 2018. The film enjoyed limited theatrical release, and is now being distributed through Netflix. It set a new record for the most award nominations for any film by a streaming service.

Zajaros is a co-founder of Armory Films, which in addition to MUDBOUND, has produced several successful films over the last two-years, including; BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB starring Kevin Spacey, Taron Egerton, Ansel Elgort and Emma Roberts; PEANUT BUTTER FALCON starring Dakota Johnson, Jon Bernthal, Shia LaBeouf, John Hawkes, Thomas Haden Church and Bruce Dern, ARCTIC starring Mads Mikkelsen, and the critically acclaimed comedy-horror, MOM AND DAD starring Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair.
