Crystal Bay

Crystal is our Chief Financial Officer here at CannaKids. With a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration, Crystal has a strong background in banking having worked as a loan officer for 4 years at CCU. There she received multiple President’s Council Awards and was in the top 10 of the company, 3 of the 4 years she worked there. In addition to her experience in California, Crystal worked alongside her father Bruce in Tennessee for over 3 years where he has been the bank’s President for more than 30 years.
Crystal, Tracy’s sister and aunt to Sophie, began working part time for Tracy’s web design and social media company as Executive Assistant to the CFO. It was always a dream of Tracy’s to have her sister by her side every day, and so it became a welcomed reality. There was no person on the planet Tracy could trust more to have her back than her very own sister. She quickly became a full time employee, working and helping to manage the financial department of the company, and became an irreplaceable asset.
Shortly after Sophie’s diagnosis, CannaKids was created and Crystal took on a larger role in order to support her sister and brother-in-law since missing work was common place when Sophie first began chemotherapy. Crystal became extremely interested in learning all there was to know about the business and doing anything she could to help save lives. She soon discovered that the cannabis industry was in dyer need of better accounting and banking practices. This is where she knew she could help!
Crystal manages all financial aspects of CannaKids and SavingSophie.org, and has moved up the ranks from the days of JeTT, and is now acting CFO. She spends the majority of her time researching and trying new practices to make sense of an industry that has many hurdles to overcome. Crystal strives to ensure that the company is operating effectively within the GAAP and proactively seeks out information on new regulations and laws within the cannabis industry that are related to finance.
