Tim Zajaros has over ten years of experience in the Entertainment Industry and has produced six films in just the last two years alone. Zajaros was introduced to CannaKids a year ago, and since has a developed an overwhelming passion and drive to do whatever he can to assist CannaKids in marketing it’s brand both nationally and internationally in an effort to cement CannaKids as the most recognized and respected brand in Medical Marijuana industry. “A year ago I had the slightest knowledge of the true potential of what Medical Marijuana can do. As of today, I’ve actually seen life changing results in patients with autism to epilepsy and from cancer to muscular sclerosis. Rarely do opportunities come along where you can be on the right side of history and truly change and effect lives. This is my opportunity and one that I couldn’t be more passionate about.”
Tim Zajaros is currently a partner and producer for Zeal Media Co., an independent motion picture production and finance company, which was formed in 2016 with producers Cassian Elwes and Chris Lemole. This past year Zajaros produced BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB starring Kevin Spacey, Taron Egerton, Ansel Elgort and Emma Roberts; MOM AND DAD starring Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair; and finally the Dee Rees directed MUDBOUND starring Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke, Garret Hedlund and Jason Mitchell. MUDBOUND will have its World Premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
Prior to Zeal Media, Zajaros and Lemole formed Armory Films and went on to produce the horror comedy ZOMBEAVERS with Benderspink as well as the CABIN FEVER REBOOT with Eli Roth and Cassian Elwes. Both films had limited theatrical releases through Freestyle and IFC respectively.
He produced two independent films before starting Armory– RESTITUTION starring Mena Suvari and Tom Arnold, and FROM THE HEAD starring Matthew Lillard, which won Best Picture at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival and was featured at the SOHO International Film Festival.
He earlier wrote and produced the documentary BUILDING FOR LIFE, an inspirational story about three poverty stricken individuals in Northern Thailand who are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS but nine years later are living happy and prosperous lives. Tim presented BUILDING FOR LIFE at the session for the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
Zajaros graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelors of Business Administration, emphasis in Finance, from Western Michigan University. He began his professional career with an automotive marketing company based out of Detroit and soon left to work in the Agent Training Program for United Talent Agency (UTA) in Los Angeles.
