Janie Maedler

Janie Maedler is a mom, educator, advocate and Cannabis Clinician in Delaware. She is a Cannabis Policy Advisor who was the driving force behind Rylie’s Law (Delaware’s Pediatric MMJ Law) and SB181(known as Delaware’s Pediatric MMJ School Law) which were passed unanimously, an unprecedented event in the U.S. Janie has had extensive training in various aspects of medical Cannabis and plant derived psychedelic medicines. Her main focus is on the therapeutic benefits of Cannabis for Autism Spectrum Disorders and Bone Regeneration. Janie’s inspiration came from her daughter Rylie who began Cannabis Therapy in 2013 after an aggressive bone tumor diagnosis then shortly afterwards a seizure disorder and her daughter’s twin brother, Gavin, who is on the Autism Spectrum. Her venture into educating herself about the Cannabis as medicine not only saved her daughter but also changed her son’s quality of life. Janie’s knowledge and personal experience has led her to successfully help families worldwide give their children options that they may not have had before.
